 Organpipe Mud Daubers

Organpipe Mud Daubers are pests.

These wasps create larva rearing mud tubes in which young develop. The Organpipe Mud Dauber nests occur between brick and wood trim and resemble organpipes. A female will typically lay several eggs in a single pipe and will have three to six pipes per nest.

Most Organpipe Mud Daubers feed on spiders.

If provoked this wasp uses its stinger.
