Organpipe Mud Daubers are pests. These wasps create larva rearing mud tubes in which young develop. The Organpipe Mud Dauber nests occur between brick and wood trim and resemble organpipes. A female will typically lay several eggs in a single pipe and will have three to six pipes per nest. Most Organpipe Mud Daubers feed on spiders. If provoked this wasp uses its stinger. |
