 Leucojum

Leucojum aestivum Gravetye Giant, a true bulb that blooms in spring, belongs to the family Amaryllidaceae and has the nickname of snowflake.

The pendent white bells have six equal petals each tipped with a dot of emerald green. Multiple flowers dangle on stems eighteen inches in length. The long slender leaves grow outward with a gentle curve.
